The partnership between Netflix's Squid Game and Call of Duty has kicked off today with a special event running until January 24. Featuring themed rewards and Limited-Time Modes (LTMs) across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, the collaboration celebrates the premiere of the series' second season.
Rewards in the Free Event Pass
Players can unlock exclusive items by progressing through the Squid Game Event Pass. The free version includes operator skins inspired by characters from the show, melee weapons, emblems, and other cosmetic items. A Premium Path, which adds extra rewards, is available for 1100 COD Points.
New Thematic Game Modes
The event introduces several modes inspired by the series:
-
Red Light, Green Light (MP): A survival competition based on the iconic "Red Light, Green Light" game, with progressively more intense rounds.
-
Pentathlon (MP): A series of Multiplayer challenges to test skills and determine supremacy.
-
Squid Game Moshpit (MP): Modes featuring unique mechanics such as the "Red Light, Green Light" killstreak, bonuses from Piggy Banks, and the high-risk Roulette Handgun.
In the Zombies mode, the new map Citadelle des Morts adds survival mechanics similar to the show, including "Red Light" phases that drain resources upon movement and "Dead Light" phases introducing tougher waves of enemies.
Challenges in Warzone
Players face rotating trials in Urzikstan, with underperforming teams eliminated progressively. Elements like the “Red Light, Green Light” round are integrated to heighten the difficulty.
Themed Bundles Available in the Store
During the event, three Squid Game-themed bundles will be released, featuring operators, weapons, and personalized items:
-
Squid Game 2: Pink Guards Tracer Pack
Includes masked operators, themed weapons, and cosmetic items. -
Squid Game 2: The VIPs Tracer Pack

The event, blending elements of Netflix’s series with the Call of Duty universe, promises to attract fans of both franchises.
