Game XP 2019 revealed the trophy of League Of Legends, Rainbow Six and CS: GO tournaments.
A 90-centimetre sword, weighing seven pounds, will be handed to the winners of the women’s and men’s championships.
Also, the trophy is unique. The sword was developed by the graphic artist and illustrator Rodrigo Didier, being produced in aluminum with golden bath by Rodhe Matrizaria and Bella Dona Metalúrgica.
Roberto Fabri, Director of Marketing and Curator of Game XP spoke about the unusual award:
“Just as the world’s largest gaming screen is a desired icon in the eSports world, it’s no fairer than winning the championship at Oi Game Arena to bring home an item that symbolizes the greatness of this achievement. We want this trophy to be an eSports icon that is desired not only in Brazil but worldwide.”
Based at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Park in Barra da Tijuca, Game XP will take place from July 25 to 28. Tickets are still available for purchase on the event’s official website.
