The update includes information on the playable content available in the beta build, including the "small slice of Sanctuary" known as Fractured Peaks. Players can expect to explore several main and side quests, world events, legion events, and dungeons. Additionally, there will be a world boss named Ashava, which will be available only on March 18th and March 25th at specific times. The update also provides detailed minimum and recommended PC specs, indicating that during both the Open Beta and at launch, Diablo IV will not support ray tracing, but this is a feature planned to be added sometime after launch. Knowing if your PC is ready to handle the game is crucial, and the update provides the minimum and recommended requirements for PC. Players will need a broadband connection, and Diablo IV will attempt to run on hardware below minimum specifications, including HDDs, dual-core CPUs, and Integrated GPUs, but the game experience may be significantly diminished. Furthermore, Blizzard announced that players won't need subscriptions to Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus to play the tests online with others. The update also includes dates for early downloading, which will be on March 15th for pre-order beta and March 22nd for open beta.
