Owlcat Games has unveiled new details about the highly anticipated 'Void Shadows' DLC for Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader, introducing the Death Cult and its fierce companion, Kibellah. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a bit longer to dive into this new expansion, as its release, originally scheduled for August, has been pushed back to September 24th.
The announcement of the delay came through a Steam update, where the studio explained that additional time is needed to further enhance the technical quality of the DLC. This extended period will allow developers to make crucial refinements to ensure a polished and satisfying gameplay experience when 'Void Shadows' finally debuts.
The DLC promises to add approximately 15 hours of new content, including unique equipment and the introduction of Kibellah, the deadly assassin from the Death Cult. Players will be challenged to explore the darkest corners of their voidship, confronting the dangerous Genestealer Cult, known for its infiltration abilities and genetic manipulation prowess, capable of turning the player's crew against them in a deadly betrayal of the von Valancius dynasty.
