Tomorrow, the highly anticipated July update for Lost Ark, titled "Cool Retreat," will bring a host of new features, including the eagerly awaited solo mode for dungeons and raids. Additionally, players can look forward to progression events, the new Extra Endgame Rewards event, and the return of the lively Maharaka Festival.

Lost Ark is renowned for its challenging raid content, and now solo players will have the chance to experience and complete these endgame challenges. The new solo mode allows individual players to tackle complex content and become familiar with the game's mechanics. This is particularly beneficial for those playing support classes, as the solo mode will include special effects like the Scale of Fate to ensure all classes can complete the content. This new mode will also replace the special difficulties that were previously introduced for certain Legion raids.

The solo mode support will begin with the Valtan Legion Raid, extending through the Ivory Tower Abyssal Dungeon. In the future, "Kayangel, Akkan, and Ivory Tower of Chaos will be released with slight balance adjustments specific to the West." Opting for solo mode will result in reduced gold rewards, but players will still receive some gold and progression materials.

Certain rules will apply: if a player clears the first gate of a raid in solo mode, they won't be able to change the difficulty for subsequent gates. Additionally, once a player surpasses a certain item level, choosing solo mode will render them ineligible for full gold or progression material rewards.

A new Voldis Event Powerpass will be available until September 25, allowing players to boost a character to item level 1520 and transport them to Voldis. The Super Mokoko Express also returns, offering special progression bonuses for characters between item levels 1520-1600. The new Extra Endgame Rewards event aims to help players prepare for the arrival of Tier 4 later this year by completing endgame content. Rewards vary based on the item level of the activities completed and include Honor Shards, Protection and Obliteration Stones, and Leapstones.

The Maharaka Festival is also making a comeback, bringing fun mini-games like battling a giant rubber duck and competitive races, where players can earn Mokoko Pirate Tokens to exchange for valuable items.
