Tower of Fantasy is gearing up to celebrate its second anniversary with a series of updates, including the upcoming Cool Coastline content update. The game team has revealed new features, anniversary gifts, and a new simulacrum, Nola.

The game's second anniversary will bring free giveaways available with the next update, launching on August 6th. From August 6th to September 19th, there will be a special login campaign offering various rewards and special items, including up to 340 free pulls. Players can claim a gift pack once a day, receiving a random item from the rewards list. Additional giveaways will also be announced soon.

The new simulacrum, Nola, arrives with her weapon, Rumble, and her trailer provides a glimpse into her story and lore. It has been previously announced that Nola has no memories of her past. Nicknamed Fang, she played a key role in the operations of the Wednesday crime syndicate. Part of her journey involves discovering more about her past and attempting to regain her memories.

Nola's weapon, Rumble, features an alterable damage attribute and combines a motorcycle with a broadsword. The trailer demonstrates how the weapon can change its elemental type, allowing Nola to use different attributes and become a versatile team player. She also has a dodge ability called Sonic Skyrider, which lets her instantly kill non-boss monsters.

The Tower of Fantasy team also shared a second-anniversary development report addressing community issues.

One of the new features in the Cool Coastline update is the Simulacra Dorm, which promises to be an engaging mode. The Splendid Residence event will offer "dorm vouchers." More simulacra are expected to be added over time, along with new features that enhance interaction with the simulacra. Additionally, more male characters will be introduced.

The team is also planning to reduce the number of mini-games in events, prioritizing better gameplay elements and revamped rewards. They are optimizing older gameplay parts and continuing to add MMO content, multiplayer instances, and explorable world areas. It has also been revealed that characters from the Neon Genesis Evangelion collaboration are likely to return.
