Season 13 of Naraka: Bladepoint, titled Aeon Treasure, has arrived, bringing a host of new features for players. The highlight of this update is the introduction of the new hero, Kylin Zhang, inspired by the Chinese web novels Time Raiders by author Kennedy Xu. The season also includes limited-time events, balance changes, optimized features, and new cosmetics.

Kylin Zhang is portrayed as a youthful character, though he is actually 110 years old. He serves as the patriarch of the Zhang family and is an immortal who embodies the Qilin lineage. In Chinese mythology, a Qilin is a mythical creature often likened to a unicorn. The development team has worked to ensure that Kylin Zhang remains true to his depiction in the series while seamlessly integrating him into the game's roster.

A recently released trailer showcases Kylin Zhang's gameplay, highlighting his sword skills that enable swift movements and powerful attacks, including the ability to defeat enemies in mid-air. He also wields a second sword coated with Qilin blood to enhance his combat abilities.

With Kylin Zhang's debut, a special limited-time event called Qilin Descends is now available. During this event, players can complete daily missions to earn test vouchers for Kylin Zhang and Qilin Gold, which can be exchanged for various rewards. Additionally, Kylin Zhang has new cosmetics available, including a Time Raiders-themed hoodie.

Season 13, Aeon Treasure, also introduces culturally inspired elements based on traditional Chinese lore. The update features creatures from the Chinese classic Classic of Mountains and Seas, along with cosmetics inspired by the Creatures Myth and Fengshen Chronicles mythologies.

Other improvements include quality-of-life changes, such as item categorization in the inventory and client optimizations, which aim to reduce storage space needed for models and enhance rendering performance.
