This week, Diablo Immortal introduces a rewarding limited-time event, makes a significant balance change to the Battlegrounds, opens up new Helliquary boss challenges, and brings back a series of exciting events.

The update will be available globally by Wednesday and, while it doesn't bring a lot of new content, it offers opportunities to obtain high-rarity items and face formidable challenges.

The Overflowing Arsenal event starts on Wednesday, August 7, and runs until September 4. There will be five weekly tasks to complete, each of which can be done up to four times, earning you Overflowing Tokens. These tokens grant access to 14 milestones, where you must choose between two item rewards. All items, regardless of choice, will be Legendary or set items. The update announcement lists all 14 milestones, allowing you to plan your goals. For those looking to increase their chances, there's a store bundle with a +50% token acquisition bonus.

The Sunfall Reliquary Grotto also opens on Wednesday. You can use a free draw to see what you get. After that, if you want to try for the remaining nine items, you'll need to purchase Reliquary Grotto Tokens for additional draws.

The Battlegrounds are receiving an important change: the defending team will have a longer respawn time during phase 2 as the idol nears the end of its route. The current system heavily favors defenders, so this change aims to give attackers a better chance. Additionally, the Abyssal Verge and Erebban Castle areas will have reduced difficulty in obtaining Runes and Abyssal Essence.

Four Helliquary bosses, Vitaath the Shivering Death, Gorgothra the Claimer, Beledwe and Gishtur, and Izilech the Misshapen, will be available to fight at Normal difficulty, with first-kill bonuses. If you're looking for additional challenges, Challenge Rifts will receive 50 new levels on August 19 with a new season.

Finally, several events will return this month, including The Scorched Sea, All Clans on Deck, Trial of the Hordes, Alley of Blood, and Survivor's Bane.
