The much-anticipated Update 43 for The Elder Scrolls Online is set to bring exciting new content to the Infinite Archive. This content is currently available for testing on the Public Test Server (PTS) for PC and Mac.

The Infinite Archive is designed to be in a constant state of evolution, offering players new experiences and challenges with every update. According to Mike Finnigan, the lead encounter designer, "It was built from the ground up to be expanded, altered, and enhanced." In this update, the variety is being expanded with new combat methods, fresh enemies, and diverse environments, providing completely new challenges for adventurers.

One of the major additions is two new types of arenas. Responding to community requests, the scenarios within the Archive have been given significant aesthetic variations. While the original Apocrypha setting features a more greenish tone, the new arenas showcase environments dominated by blue and red hues, with elements of fire and ice, contrasting with the overall Archive atmosphere.

These new arenas also introduce different combat strategies. For instance, in the ice arena, staying still might be advantageous at certain moments, while in others, constant movement will be key to survival.

To further enrich the experience, the update will include eight new Verses and 10 new Visions, offering more tactical options. Additionally, seven new class sets have been added to the Infinite Archive's exclusive content, along with new consumable rewards, including an item that allows players to transform into a random avatar without needing Visions. New collectibles will also be available, encouraging even more exploration.

The base game update is scheduled for release on August 19th for PC and Mac, and on September 4th for Xbox and PlayStation.
