Fractured Online players have more to look forward to as the game’s engine update is now complete, with a major quality of life update scheduled for release tomorrow.
The Unity engine update has been implemented, though some bugs emerged and caused delays. However, with the new engine in place, the team hopes to address many of the stability and crashing issues that have plagued the game since its launch.
The highlight of the upcoming update is a host of quality of life improvements and community-requested features. This update is set to go live tomorrow, September 3rd, at 10:00 UTC.
New configuration options include the ability to customize controls for a MOBA/RTS style, disable quick casting, adjust mouse cursor graphics, and view monster names when hovering over them.
Additional changes include faster mounting for players in peaceful mode and new mechanics for aggressive players, where dismounting triggers skill cooldowns if hostile players are nearby. The update also expands the scenarios in which the “Stuck” button can be used, introduces helpful tooltips, and improves aiming precision.
This update marks the final extension of the free “week,” which will now last until September 9th at 8:00 UTC. During this period, players can download the game and experience the new configuration options, bug fixes, and quality of life enhancements.
