Free Fire is set to launch its most extensive anime crossover this weekend, featuring NARUTO SHIPPUDEN. Running from January 10 to February 8, the collaboration will introduce new gameplay elements to Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes, original collectibles, and Free Fire's first-ever Super Emote, all inspired by the popular anime. Iconic music from the series, such as Naruto's main theme, will also feature in the game, enhancing the immersive experience for fans and players alike.
“We’re thrilled to kick off 2025 with this epic partnership with NARUTO SHIPPUDEN,” said Harold Teo, producer of Free Fire at Garena. “Fans can expect exciting new content never seen in Free Fire before. Personally, my favorite part is the Nine-Tails Invasion event in Bermuda, where players can witness the Nine-Tails in action and experience a revival point inspired by a Jutsu. We can’t wait for our players to enjoy the event and create memories with one of the greatest animes of all time.”
Players can now log in to Free Fire to claim a free Hidden Leaf Village headband and avatar, with more Naruto-themed rewards to be announced soon.
Gameplay Highlights
Hidden Leaf Village reconstruction in Bermuda
In Battle Royale mode on Bermuda, players will begin in the Hidden Leaf Village, located where Rim Nam Village once stood. They can explore iconic locations such as the Hokage Monument, Ichiraku Ramen Shop—where a bowl of ramen grants an Energy bonus lasting the entire match—the Hokage Mansion, Ninja Arena, and even Naruto’s house.
Nine-Tails Invasion in Bermuda
As the Battle Royale match begins, players will witness the Nine-Tails attacking the airplane, a hangar, or the ground below. Depending on the attack location, different events will unfold, adding strategic challenges to the match.
Thematic Respawn Points and Cyber Airdrops in Battle Royale and Clash Squad
Eliminated players will respawn using the Jutsu of Summoning: Impure Reincarnation, gaining better equipment compared to standard respawn points. Airdrops with Ninjutsu Scrolls will also be available in Clash Squad mode, while new gameplay mechanics inspired by Jutsu are integrated into both modes.
