The Black Desert development team has revealed details about the game’s upcoming updates, scheduled for March.
Highlights include the launch of the first Hardcore Server, the conclusion of the Atoraxxion storyline with the Orzekea chapter, and various quality-of-life improvements, including the Integrated Preset feature and new cosmetics.
Hardcore Server Launch – March 13
The new Hardcore Server will introduce a monthly seasonal format, allowing players to create exclusive characters for this mode.
Focused on PvP, the server will require strategic gameplay, as participants earn Survival Points by defeating both monsters and other players.
Playtime will be limited to two hours per day, while the servers remain open 24/7. These points can be exchanged for valuable in-game rewards.
Atoraxxion’s Final Chapter: Orzekea – March 20
The Atoraxxion storyline reaches its conclusion with Orzekea, introducing new narrative elements centered around the mysteries of Orze, a key character in the ongoing conflict.
The final boss, Orze of Thorns, will present a significant challenge, requiring players to cooperate in order to achieve victory.
New Costumes and Quality-of-Life Improvements
Players can expect new costumes arriving in March. The Medeia outfit, available for all female characters, features a mystical aesthetic, while the Sunny Breeze set, accessible to all classes, brings a seasonal-themed look.
Additionally, several quality-of-life enhancements are planned for the coming weeks. The development team outlined changes to the Loyalty Shop and announced a future update focused on single-player gameplay.
The All-in-One Preset feature was also confirmed, allowing players to customize settings for different game modes and automatically apply specific configurations.
