Pearl Abyss has announced a series of updates for different versions of the MMORPG Black Desert. The news includes the arrival of Rabam Skills to Black Desert Mobile and a new developer video showcasing improvements and new content coming to Black Desert Online.

Rabam Skills Arrive in Black Desert Mobile

Known to players of the PC and console versions, Rabam Skills are now part of the experience in Black Desert Mobile. This new system offers two specific skills per class, designed to enhance customization and combat performance.

The skills can be used simultaneously and deal damage comparable to Succession Skills. As they are upgraded, they unlock new levels of power. To unlock them, players must reach level 70 and complete the “Trials from Ancient Times” story mission. When activated, the skills summon an illusion of the character, visible only to the player.

The update notes also detail class balance adjustments, improvements to the Black Shrine content, and changes to the Nightmare mode.

Developers Highlight Updates for Black Desert Online

A new developer commentary video has been released, discussing upcoming changes and content for Black Desert Online. The main updates include:

  • Furniture Buff: Conversion of mounted creature bonuses into tradeable bonus scrolls;
  • Unified Buff Interface: A new system that displays all active buffs for easier management;
  • Atoraxxion – The Final Gladios: Conclusion of the saga with a battle against Illezra, the White Witch;
  • Life Skills: Standardization of elixirs in alchemy to 0.2 LT weight and a revision of Contribution Point costs for housing and nodes;
  • Class Balancing: A new cycle of updates focusing on reducing PvE performance disparities between classes;
  • New “Freshman” Outfit: A casual look with a white t-shirt and jeans, responding to community requests for simpler designs;
  • Next Heidel Banquet: The event will be held in Daejeon, South Korea.
