Break Season, considered the biggest update to date for Delta Force, was released on July 9 for PC and mobile platforms.
The update introduces two new maps, a brand-new operator, improved combat systems, and a themed collaboration with the Arknights universe.
Among the highlights, players can claim a free legendary weapon inspired by the Arknights crossover and have a chance to unlock one of three exclusive skins from the so-called Supreme Collaboration.
Special missions will be available from July 11 to November 9, allowing players to earn up to 90 Operator Cards.
New Maps and Tactical Challenges
The update features two distinct maps designed to enhance team coordination and tactical gameplay:
Tide Prison: Set in a maximum-security prison operated by the fictional organization Haavk, this map is currently exclusive to PC and introduces new swimming and diving mechanics. Players must infiltrate disguised as inmates, recover gear mid-mission, and solve complex puzzles either solo or with their squad in underwater environments.
Cyclone: Set on a tropical island housing an ICBM missile site, this map offers large-scale combat across infantry and vehicle units. A real-time weather system adds a strategic layer by affecting visibility, movement, and tactics throughout the match.
New Operator: Tempest
Available in the free Battle Pass, Tempest is a high-mobility operator equipped with an exoskeletal movement device, evasion tools, and a drill weapon that disables enemies on impact. She is ideal for close-quarters combat and frontline breakthroughs, catering to players who thrive in high-pressure skirmishes.
Expanded Arsenal and Enhanced Combat Systems
Break Season also brings additional weapons and tactical enhancements:
- A high-impact assault rifle
- A precision compound bow
- Jet skis for seamless transitions between land and water combat zones
The Victory Unite system has been upgraded with a real-time command center and a new support mechanic that reduces respawn times and improves team coordination under fire.
Arknights Collaboration: Exclusive Content and Rewards
The collaboration with Arknights introduces themed character and weapon skins. Three outfits are part of the Supreme Collaboration: Luna – inspired by the character Schwarz, Toxik – featuring the Midnight Delivery design, and Hackclaw – an exclusive crossover appearance.
A legendary crossover weapon is also available for free.
Additional themed rewards include:
- Weapon skins featuring Amiya
- Amiya-themed Avatar and Calling Card
- Operator Cards for the Arknights Force Research event, which can be used to unlock items such as the exclusive Hackclaw skin
Players can also find hidden Arknights Easter eggs scattered throughout the game.
Starting July 11, Operator Cards will be awarded through mission completion. Players who finish all missions can receive 90 Operator Cards (equivalent to 9,000 Delta Coins), which can be used during the Luna Research and to obtain Toxik – Midnight Delivery or the exclusive Hackclaw collaboration skin, available until the end of the Arknights Force Research event.
