The mid-season update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone launches this Wednesday, May 1, bringing new content to multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone modes.
Highlights include two new maps, an additional mode for Zombies, new Loadout items, and themed events.
Main Updates for Black Ops 6
Two new multiplayer maps are being introduced. In Haven, players explore a mansion turned KGB hideout. In Signal, battles unfold inside and around a numbers station, with combat taking place both above and below water.
A new limited-time mode, Operations, features five game types in dynamic matches with short rounds. Each match rotates randomly through the modes and includes gameplay modifiers that affect Operators on the field.
Among the new Loadout items, the Vendetta Perk allows players to mark the enemy who eliminated them. Upon respawn, the player sees the last known location of that enemy and earns bonus points for eliminating them in return.
Guided Mode for Zombies and Returning Abilities
The Shattered Veil map receives a Directed Mode, which provides additional assistance during the main mission. Classic items such as the Ray Gun Mark II and the Microwave Trap are available, along with the returning Frost Blast Field Upgrade, which freezes enemies and deals frost damage.
The new limited-time mode Zombie Snacks replaces Operators’ health bars with energy and grants special abilities. It is playable across five maps: Shattered Veil, The Tomb, Citadelle des Morts, Terminus, and Liberty Falls, in both standard and guided versions.
New Warzone Modes and Verdansk Content
With Verdansk back in action, two new limited-time modes are coming to Warzone: High Trip Resurgence and Massive Resurgence, supporting up to 120 players. Casual Battle Royale and Rebirth Island Resurgence remain available.
Additional Verdansk features include new High Value Loot Zones, the Triumph TF 250-X vehicle, and a moving train that allows for combat in transit.
