In Destiny 2's latest update, the annual Halloween event, Festival of the Lost, is back, bringing new features and rewards that promise to captivate Guardians during this spooky season.

The Festival of the Lost follows a similar structure to previous years, but with added incentives to keep players engaged. This year, players can take on Haunted Sectors, with an extra chance to earn additional Eerie Engrams. Manifested Pages for the Book of the Forgotten can now drop from various sources beyond just chests, as long as players wear the themed masks.

New masks are available this year, each with unique visuals and perks to enhance Guardians' skills. In Expert Haunted Sectors, players can earn better weapon rolls with higher stats. Additionally, players can now buy Exotic Class items directly from Eva without specific missions, as long as they own The Final Shape expansion.

The featured weapon of this event, Arcane Embrace, is a powerful new Arc weapon with a Heavy Burst subtype that fires a strong two-shot burst while reducing incoming fire recoil. Its unique origin trait, “Search Group,” adds a new layer of strategy in combat. Alongside this, fan-favorite weapons from previous events return with updated perks.

In terms of customization, Guardians can enjoy new cosmetics, such as the Warlock Armor Ornament, Spectral Shell Emblem, and the return of the Superblack Shader, unlocked by completing 15 event challenges.

The event is expected to kick off with the next reset cycle on October 29, aligning with the start of Grandmaster Nightfalls. In addition, Bungie announced a campaign supporting hurricane relief efforts, raising $300,000 so far for Team Rubicon and Direct Relief.

For a seamless experience during the Festival of the Lost, NoPing is essential for players who want to minimize connectivity issues, such as high ping, latency, lag, and packet loss. Offering solutions for jitter and FPS boost, NoPing ensures smooth gameplay in Haunted Sectors and across other Destiny 2 activities, optimizing performance and connectivity.
