The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) launched a surprise Golden Pursuits campaign on November 3, titled Alik'r Awaits, celebrating the reveal of The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel. According to MMORPG.com, the event is already live and runs until November 23.
The campaign celebrates Hammerfell, the homeland of the Redguards, and takes place in the Alik'r Desert zone.
What rewards can players earn in Golden Pursuits: Alik'r Awaits?
Players can earn up to 10 Warrior Wave Crown Crates by completing activities in the Alik'r Desert. The reward milestones are unlocked progressively: two crates after completing two activities, three more after five activities, and a total of 10 crates after completing seven activities. All objectives are listed in the game's Activity Finder.
The crates contain random rewards, including mounts, pets, and furnishings inspired by Yokudan heritage. Available items include the Celestial Warrior skill style, Tava's Glinting Talon skin, Lightning Form, and the rare Celestial Warrior Ornaug and Glinting Talon Quasigriff mounts.
Which activities count toward the event?
The announcement highlights destroying Dark Anchors and fighting monsters in the desert. The zone also features Daedra and dolmens, which provide accessible XP farming opportunities and have made the Alik'r Desert a popular grinding location.
MMORPG.com expects player activity in the region to increase during the campaign.
When does the event end, and how long is the free outfit available?
There are two separate deadlines:
- Golden Pursuits: Alik'r Awaits runs until November 23.
- Sai Sahan's Dragonguard Attire is available for free in the Crown Store until November 9.
The Crown Store has also brought back several Redguard-themed items.
In its November update, the ESO team had originally scheduled the next Golden Pursuits campaign for later in the month rather than alongside the launch of Season 2. According to MMORPG.com, the reveal of The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel explains the scheduling change.
Further details and reward previews are available in the official event announcement.
