The siege in the Zarzakh region of EVE Online has ended, temporarily easing the threat of the Drifters to the Immortal Cult. However, strange events continue to unfold in the mysterious depths of this area.

The siege began earlier this month, with the four gates leading to EVE Online's newest region placed under lockdown. Zarzakh, introduced during last year’s EVE Fanfest as part of the preparation for the 2023 Havoc expansion, quickly became a vital route for players to traverse the New Eden star cluster with ease. However, the recent Drifter siege disrupted this flow, causing trouble for capsuleers relying on these stargates.

Despite the end of the siege, the stargate lockdown remains in place, meaning players will still face wait times before unlocking new stargates in the system. According to CCP Games, over 500 ships were destroyed during the siege, with losses estimated at over 100 billion ISK, while Drifter capsules dropped a variety of valuable modules for players.

Today, a curious discovery caught the attention of the EVE community. Players in Zarzakh spotted a massive structure revealing itself, emerging from the region's fog. Discussions and speculations have started circulating online, with some joking about its resemblance to Thargoids from Elite Dangerous, while others suggest it could be a new stargate coming to life. What this new anomaly will bring to the universe of EVE remains a mystery.
