Fortnite has returned to iOS in several countries following developments in the legal dispute between Epic Games and Apple. With the game back on the App Store, the developer launched a campaign that grants the Yeddy skin for free to users on Apple devices.
The reward only requires one action inside the game: gaining a single account level. After progressing, the system automatically unlocks the cosmetic item for the player.
Fortnite on iOS unlocks skin after simple challenge
To unlock the Yeddy skin, players must install Fortnite on iPhone or iPad, log into their Epic Games account, and play matches until they complete one additional level.
Experience points can be earned through different in-game activities. Daily quests provide large amounts of XP. Eliminations, opening chests, and staying inside safe storm zones also speed up account progression.
Players at higher levels may need more matches to complete the objective. The seasonal progression system increases the amount of XP required as the account advances.
Fortnite skin includes customization options
The Yeddy skin previously appeared in promotional campaigns tied to Android and the Google Play Store. Now, Epic Games has expanded the distribution to iOS users.
The cosmetic includes several visual customization options. Players can change colors, activate reactive chest effects, and equip accessories such as sunglasses.
The character’s larger model may affect visibility during competitive matches. Bigger skins are usually easier for opponents to spot in open areas of the map.
Epic Games stated that it is still working to fully restore Fortnite operations in regions of Australia. The company has not provided an official timeline for the completion of the process.
In addition, players looking for better stability in online matches can use the NoPing Game Booster, a lightweight platform that reduces high ping and improves connections in competitive games. New users can test the tool for free.
