The Fortnite x Obsession collaboration is expected to arrive in the Item Shop on October 21, 2026, during Fortnitemares 2026. The crossover with the horror film produced by Blumhouse Productions is expected to feature a Nikki Freeman skin, cosmetic accessories, and a themed emote. Epic Games has not confirmed the official prices, but current estimates suggest the bundle could cost 2,300 V-Bucks.
The announcement followed several weeks of rumors and teasers. An eight-second video revealed the cosmetics' arrival date, adding another horror-themed collaboration to Fortnite's Halloween lineup.
The crossover is part of the Locker of Horror collection, which brings content inspired by horror productions into the game. Other collaborations expected during Fortnitemares 2026 include Five Nights at Freddy's (FNAF) and Hazbin Hotel.

When Does Fortnite x Obsession Release?
Fortnite x Obsession is scheduled to launch on October 21, 2026, during the Item Shop's daily refresh. The expected release time is 7 PM ET on October 21, equivalent to 8 PM in Brasília.
Players will be able to purchase the cosmetics using V-Bucks, Fortnite's in-game currency. The items are expected to be available individually and as part of a bundle, following the format used for previous Fortnite collaborations.
Epic Games has not released an official price list or confirmed whether players will have an opportunity to unlock any of the items for free through competitive events.
What Items Are Included in the Fortnite x Obsession Collaboration?
Leaks and information released about the collaboration point to four main cosmetic items:
- Nikki Freeman Outfit: A skin inspired by the character from the horror film Obsession.
- Back Bling: A cosmetic accessory designed to complement the outfit.
- Pickaxe: A themed harvesting tool for use during matches.
- Emote: A special animation that could feature an exclusive interaction with Nikki Freeman's skin.
The character's appearance may include blood marks on her face, reflecting elements from the film. This possibility coincides with Fortnite's updated ESRB rating, which now includes a content descriptor related to animated blood.
However, the final designs, animations, and individual cosmetic features still require official confirmation from Epic Games.
How Much Will the Fortnite x Obsession Skins Cost?
The complete bundle is estimated to cost 2,300 V-Bucks. This projection is based on the prices of similarly sized bundles previously available in Fortnite's Item Shop.
For comparison, the Mothman bundle has a reference price of 2,300 V-Bucks, although it has previously appeared in a promotion for 1,600 V-Bucks.
If sold separately, Nikki Freeman's skin could cost approximately 1,500 V-Bucks, a price range commonly associated with outfits from licensed collaborations.
These prices are estimates, not official figures. Epic Games has yet to confirm the final cost of each item, the complete bundle, or any potential Fortnitemares discounts.
Will the Fortnite x Obsession Skin Be Free?
Nikki Freeman's skin is expected to be available for purchase with V-Bucks in the Item Shop. There is currently no confirmation that the outfit will be free or included in a Battle Pass.
Epic Games could organize a themed tournament offering cosmetic rewards, as it has done for other collaborations. However, no Fortnite Cup associated with Obsession has been officially announced.
What Is Obsession?
Obsession is an independent horror film released in 2025 and produced by Blumhouse Productions. The cast includes Inde Navarrette. The movie attracted attention from horror fans and prompted requests for a collaboration with Fortnite.
The arrival of these cosmetics during Fortnitemares 2026 would expand the game's selection of horror-themed characters and franchises. Players should check Fortnite's official channels after the Item Shop refresh for confirmed prices, availability, and any special offers.
