Garena Free Fire is celebrating its 8th anniversary with an event running from June 20 to July 14. Titled “Infinity and Celebration,” the event introduces new game modes, exclusive items, and customizable features.
Theme and event concept
The theme “Infinity and Celebration” is inspired by the Möbius strip and the infinity symbol, representing the range of experiences and features the game offers. Throughout the event, players will have access to a new combat arena called the “Ring of Infinity,” special items, and a customizable train-themed lobby.
Items and rewards
The event includes the “Beyond Infinity” male outfit set, a train conductor-inspired skin that can be unlocked by completing in-game missions. A commemorative Gloo Wall, chosen through a global community vote, will also be available, along with the return of the “Legacy of the Gloo Wall” game mode, brought back at the request of players.
Additional commemorative content includes the “Top Criminal (Gold)” outfit, a new skin for the P90 weapon called “Golden Corrosion,” and themed character outfits based on the anniversary’s train motif.
Battle Royale gameplay changes
In the Battle Royale mode, players will now start matches aboard themed Infinity Trains instead of the usual planes. These trains will appear across six stations on the map, with only two active at a time and limited to one team per train. Teams will compete for control of the stations to gain access to the “Ring of Infinity,” a new combat zone exclusive to the anniversary event.
In this arena, players can collect “Infinity Items” that provide temporary tactical advantages, such as unlimited Gloo Wall deployment, respawn cards, damage boosts, and healing items.
Updates to Contra Squad mode
The Contra Squad mode now includes Infinity Items like the Gloo Machine, Inhalers, and Ultimate Chips, which can be unlocked by earning points. Players will also encounter special rounds aboard the Infinity Train, with variations offering temporary boosts, new weapons, or Gloo Wall fragments.
Customizable train lobby
For the first time, the game introduces a fully customizable train lobby. Players can personalize train stations and trains with achievement panels, themed skins, sky and ground effects, and other visual elements. An in-game AI tool will also allow players to generate unique train designs based on their characters' outfits.
Audio-visual content
On June 20, an animated video will be released featuring the anniversary theme song, “Infinity.” The video revisits past content from Free Fire and includes a teaser hinting at future updates, with a brief appearance of a dark, ninja-like silhouette at the end.
