Genshin Impact has recently unveiled details about its latest banner called "Chronicled Wish," offering an innovative approach to pulls during the event period. According to information shared on Genshin Impact's official social media channels, the new banner features a selection of characters and weapons from previous events, allowing players to focus on their favorites and still have a chance to acquire exclusive event items.
Players participating in the Chronicled Wish banner have the freedom to choose a 5-star character or weapon from the pre-established list. Consequently, subsequent pulls on the banner will be tailored according to this choice, meaning if a character is chosen, future pulls will guarantee characters. Additionally, each acquisition of a 5-star attraction grants a "Destiny Point," enabling players to determine their next 5-star acquisition.
The new pity system present in the banner ensures players a 5-star item every 90 pulls. However, it's worth noting that the pity system remains active in case Chronicled Wish returns in future events, while Destiny Points are not cumulative. This innovation in the banner system is particularly welcome for players who wish to pursue specific characters and for gacha enthusiasts.
Version 4.5, titled "Blades Weaving Betwixt Brocade," also introduces a new 5-star character named Chiori, a skilled seamstress wielding dual blades. Additionally, the update will bring a new story mission centered around Chiori, along with limited-time events packed with special rewards. All these exciting additions were revealed during a special broadcast. The update is scheduled to be released on March 13.
