The Lost Ark team is gearing up for its July update with exciting new features on the horizon, including the introduction of solo raids and the Echidna After story content.
Fresh details emerged from the latest Eye on Arkesia video. While more specifics on the July update are expected next week, the update itself is scheduled to launch on July 17. In just a week, this major July update will bring a significant new feature: solo raids. These raids will allow players to tackle Legion Raids and even the Ivory Tower Abyssal dungeon solo. The addition of solo mode to raids aims to help players acquire essential progression materials without necessarily relying on or waiting for a group to collect these rewards.
To support solo players facing these challenges, we can expect some adjusted mechanics to enable a player to solo these challenges and emerge victorious. All classes will have a way to complete raids solo. An example highlighted in the video by CM Roxx was that there will be some special effects to allow a class like a Bard to tackle a raid. So, if you're more of a support class player, there's still room for you to complete some raids. For solo raids, gold rewards will be slightly reduced, but you will still receive valuable progression materials.
The July update will also add the Echidna After Story to play and wrap things up with our favorite snake boss. Additionally, expect increased Level 3 support, additional support for item enhancement. There will also be changes to the Elixir and Transcendence systems to help streamline and clarify progression options in response to player feedback and change requests. This follows previous announcements from Smilegate RPG and Amazon about reducing some of the routine and making progression less complicated.
