The Public Test Realm (PTR) for Mortal Online 2 is set to open tomorrow, October 30, with the highly anticipated Sprint 7 patch. This update introduces several new features and optimizations aimed at enhancing the player experience, including ranked duels, a daily task system, clade reroll tokens, and, for the first time, spider mounts.

The new daily tasks add a routine activity option, giving players unique rewards for completing one task each day. For those eager for more competitive action, ranked duels bring a fresh twist to combat. These duels, launching in quarterly seasons, introduce a leaderboard and ranked tiers. The dueling mechanic is straightforward, allowing two players to face off under any agreed-upon conditions, without matchmaking. In the future, Star Vault plans to expand the system with arenas and more regulated rules.

Another notable addition is the Surrender action skill, allowing a player to raise their arms, signaling they’re not a threat. This lets others inspect the surrendered player’s inventory, reducing potential for conflict by showing that no valuable items are at stake.

The update also introduces clade reroll tokens, allowing players to change their clade and adjust character traits like face and body structure. However, players should consider that some clades have limited maximum attribute points.

This patch also includes various Mastery optimizations, character and world performance improvements, and environmental updates. Additionally, spider mounts add a new level of character customization and in-game mobility, offering a unique way to traverse the world.
