Mortal Online 2 will introduce an Aggressive flag, customizable player housing and new spells in the second patch of the Era of Refinement, according to developer Star Vault. The studio outlined the upcoming features, as reported by MMORPG.com on October 30, 2026. The patch is scheduled to reach the Public Test Realm (PTR) on November 18, 2026.
What is the Aggressive flag in Mortal Online 2?
The Aggressive flag is a player status that signals an intention to commit criminal actions or attack Blue players. It will replace the current criminal actions button and make flagged characters vulnerable to lawful attacks while the status is active, even if they have not committed a crime.
According to MMORPG.com, other players will be able to recognize the aggressive player's intentions and attack them legally. The system could also enable larger community events, since the current duel system is limited to two participants.
Some players already create similar encounters by committing crimes and remaining available for anyone willing to challenge them.
Mortal Online 2 housing customization: Strongholds and Keeps
Star Vault considers the current player housing customization options fairly basic. The upcoming system will allow players to modify individual building components, giving their homes a visual style associated with different regions of the game world.
These components will become a new type of loot found throughout the world, including rare versions for collectors. Basic varieties will also be available from vendors.
According to Star Vault, the original idea started on a smaller scale but showed greater potential than expected. As a result, the development team expanded the same mechanics to Strongholds, Keeps and Keep Walls.
New spells, Hunting Prowess and Concentration rework
The second patch will introduce a new buff alongside additional spells with both utility and combat applications.
Other planned changes include:
- The new primary skill Hunting Prowess.
- A Concentration skill rework, changing how the ability affects spellcasting.
Other changes coming in the patch
Star Vault also outlined several additional features planned for the update:
- Quality-of-life improvements.
- Wearable banners featuring guild heraldry.
- The ability to ride most creatures in Myrland.
- New Clade Gifts.
- An anti-zerg mechanic.

When does the Mortal Online 2 patch arrive on the PTR?
Star Vault has announced the following dates for the upcoming update:
- November 11, 2026: A new livestream featuring additional patch details.
- November 18, 2026: The patch launches on the Public Test Realm (PTR).
The first Era of Refinement patch entered the PTR on October 14, 2026, according to MassivelyOP. The development roadmap focuses on delivering smaller, more frequent updates through the end of the year.
