Grinding Gear Games, the developer of Path of Exile 2, has officially revealed when to expect more information about the game's upcoming early access. Players will soon have the chance to dive into the sequel before its official release.
According to an announcement on X (formerly known as Twitter), early access will be available to players who purchase a supporter pack, which will include a key granting access to the game. Additionally, players who have reached a certain lifetime support level in the first game will also be invited to participate in the early access for Path of Exile 2 without needing to buy a supporter pack.
The developer has scheduled a live stream in about a month, where they will provide more detailed information about the early access phase. This stream will also unveil the full details of the supporter packs and what they will offer.
During Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024, which took place in August, it was confirmed that early access would begin on November 15. The Grinding Gear Games team has worked hard to ensure Path of Exile 2 is an improvement over the original, with exciting new boss designs and innovative mechanics. Christopher Laferriere, the skills and character build designer, expressed his pride in the team's monster design work, mentioning how they always come up with "crazy, weird, and wild" boss fights.
