Sony will add Destiny 2: Legacy Collection to the PlayStation Plus catalog on June 9. The package will be available to Extra and Premium subscribers on the same day as the “Monument to Triumph” update, which is being described as the final major update of the game’s current cycle.
The collection brings together expansions and content released between 2017 and 2024. Outside the subscription service, the package costs around US$70.

• Forsaken Pack
• 30th Anniversary Pack

The Edge of Fate and Renegades expansions remain outside the collection. Both releases are still sold separately. Some older campaigns removed by Bungie over the past few years also do not return in this edition.
The studio previously reduced older content to decrease the game’s installation size and simplify future updates. Adding the Legacy Collection expands access to the main Destiny 2 campaigns for subscribers of the service.
Although the game offers a free-to-play version, major expansions previously required separate purchases. Among the available content, The Witch Queen remains one of the franchise’s most significant campaigns due to its narrative scope and mission variety.
The expansion also introduced major changes to progression systems and build customization.
The package arrives on PS Plus while Bungie continues reorganizing internal projects. Recent reports point to a stronger focus on new games and no announcements related to Destiny 3.
Released in 2017, Destiny 2 has maintained frequent updates through paid expansions, seasonal content, and cooperative activities. The live-service model has kept the game active for nearly a decade.
