Update 33.1 for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is live, introducing completely destructible environments to the Sanhok map. Already available on PC and coming to consoles on the 12th, the update also kicks off the holiday season with themed missions and rewards in the Survivor Pass: Let It Snow.

Sanhok Destruction: Continuing the destructible environment feature introduced in Rondo, Sanhok evolves into a fully destructible map. Players can blow up buildings, structures, and other objects with explosives, adding a new dynamic to gameplay with more intense combat in a more immersive and realistic environment. For the first time, the Red Zone will also be a destructive force. Explosions in the Red Zone can damage terrain and structures, heightening the tension on the battlefield.

Survivor Pass: Let It Snow: It’s time to celebrate the holiday season with the festive-themed Survivor Pass: Let It Snow, filled with seasonal missions and rewards.

Team Selection by Language: A highly requested feature will be introduced for Normal Matches on PC, allowing players to be matched with others who speak their preferred language, enabling clearer communication.

Improved Shooting Mechanics: After several adjustments throughout the year, developers are finalizing the balance for SMGs, giving them greater accuracy and making them more effective in close combat and one-on-one encounters.

Season 33 Ranked Mode: The latest season will offer players new permanent rewards, such as FAMAS weapon skins and tier-specific bonuses, with leaderboards resetting after server maintenance.
Additionally, a series of events will celebrate the new version of Sanhok, including Take Off the Plane, Meet Me in Sanhok, Play Together, Fortune Drop, PCZ: Sanhok Edition, Destruction Week, Chaos Circuit, Destruction Milestones, Destruction Highlights, Stranded and Looted, Chaos Crew: Destruction Squad, and Tune Your Tukshai.
