Update 36.2 for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS was released this Wednesday (10) for PC players. The console version is scheduled to launch on July 17.
Among the highlights of this new update are gameplay adjustments, clan system enhancements, and the debut of an unprecedented collaboration with K-Pop group Aespa.
Aespa Joins the Battlegrounds
The South Korean group Aespa enters the world of PUBG through a campaign that features custom visuals, themed environments, and exclusive music content.
Players can explore show arenas and stylized locations on the Miramar map, as well as find customized supply drops, themed airplanes, and an emote stage available across all 8x8 maps.
An original song created specifically for the campaign will also be released. The rollout includes a teaser, a preview of the track, and a music video, all leading up to the full launch of the song and themed in-game content on July 15.
Vehicle Camouflage Improvements
First introduced in update 35.2, the Vehicle Camo Netting has received improvements. The item now features increased durability and reduced weight. It is also now available on the Rondo and Taego maps, expanding its usability across different environments.
Clan System Updates
The clan system has been updated to strengthen group identity within the game. New features include a weekly ranking page and clan nameplates, which are now displayed during matches. These changes aim to enhance progression and recognition for active groups in the community.
