The new Update 34.1 for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is available now on PC and scheduled to arrive on consoles on February 20. The update includes improvements to 1v1 arena access, weapon balance adjustments, and vehicle enhancements.
Main Changes:
- 1v1 Arena: The Training Mode now allows direct access to the 1v1 Arena through the Arcade mode, where players are automatically placed into the arena. The rules remain unchanged, maintaining competitiveness, and players can also organize 1v1 duels in custom matches.
- Weapon Balancing: The update adjusts several firearms. 7.62mm ammunition is now lighter, allowing for higher ammo capacity. Shotguns have seen changes in pellet spread, recoil, and reduced damage at range, improving balance at short distances. The recoil of the Mk12 has been increased to reduce its effectiveness in long-range combat.
- Vehicle Enhancements: The Dacia, Mirado, Pony Coupe, and Coupe RB now feature a trunk for additional storage. Off-road vehicles like the Buggy and Quad have been updated with more durable tires for better performance on rough terrain.
- New Ranked Season: The new ranked season begins with this update, bringing new challenges and rewards. Additionally, the update includes bug fixes and optimizations aimed at improving the player experience.
