PUBG: Battlegrounds launched its Update 37.1 for PC, with a console release expected soon. The patch introduces luxury hypercar vehicles, extended creative tools, and the return of a beloved arcade mode.
Bugatti Hypercars Hit the Battlefield
Players can now access exclusive Chiron and Chiron (Édition Spéciale) skins for the Coupe RB. Customization options include 14 exterior colors, 4 interior themes, 7 wheel designs, and 7 brake caliper styles—along with themed costume sets.
Special Bugatti containers appear at the start zones of Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi, Taego, Deston, and Rondo. Only players equipped with Bugatti skins can open these containers and use the vehicles. These containers are available from match start until boarding the plane, across Normal, Ranked, and Casual modes, and will last for one month.

Each car replicates authentic engine and exhaust sounds. The Édition Spéciale model includes an active rear wing and custom boost audio effects for heightened immersion.
UGC Alpha Expanded
The UGC Alpha platform, which enables user-generated content, is now officially expanded and open through the October update.
Exclusively on PC, players with PUBG Plus accounts can create sessions in Custom Match mode and define custom rulesets, logic, and objects to craft unique gameplay experiences beyond traditional battle royale. All players can participate in existing sample modes.
POBG Arcade Revival
The retro-styled mini-game POBG returns for a limited time with a new pixel-art map, Paramo. Originally launched as an April Fools' event in 2021, POBG pits players against waves of chicken bosses in light-hearted, arcade-style action, a playful diversion from standard combat.
The Tech Outlook adds that POBG will debut on PC from August 21 (console launch scheduled for August 28), coinciding with other gameplay tweaks, including DMR balancing changes, new Survivor Pass, and destructible environmental items.
Additional Enhancements
Update 37.1 also introduces:
- A new ranked season
- Updated Survivor Pass
- Balance adjustments for designated marksman rifles (DMRs)
- Removal of canted sights
- Destructible props and vending machines on select maps
Ahead: End of Consoles Support Notice
A separate announcement confirms support for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will end on November 13, 2025. Going forward, only PS5 and Xbox Series X|S players will receive updates. Player data will be preserved for future transitions.
