RuneScape has introduced its second Skilling Boss, the Gate of Elidinis, offering players a fresh challenge. This new content continues the "Ode of the Devourer" questline, guiding adventurers to the peak of the Sanctum of Rebirth in the desert, where Amascut's corruption spreads.
The Gate of Elidinis is now available to members, featuring a cooperative challenge that can be tackled solo or in groups of up to 10 players. The story behind this boss centers on the sacred portal of Elidinis, now corrupted and releasing disturbed spirits into the desert. Your mission is to prevent these dark forces from growing stronger and restore peace to the region.
To defeat the boss, players must utilize skills such as Agility, Crafting, Divination, and the recently updated Mining. During the battle, you'll need to mine Moonstones to construct spiritual barriers that help contain the corruption. The group's main objective is to repair the statue of Elidinis, clearing corrupted fragments and restoring the portal to its original function.
The rewards for defeating the boss are plentiful, including new secondary items for Runecrafting and Divination, like the Runic Attuner and Memory Dowser. Additionally, there's a new Prayer called Eclipsed Soul and a new God Book, the Conduit of Souls. Players can also unlock a new pet, Edit, by clearing the portal 1,000 times.
To celebrate the launch, the Gate of Elidinis Shard Hunt event runs until October 6. During this time, players can complete tasks to collect Moonstone Shards and exchange them for special items.
