The Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone arrives on January 28, introducing a wide range of new content. Highlights include five new multiplayer maps, over six new weapons, a new Zombies map, limited-time themed modes, and various gameplay improvements.

New Multiplayer Maps in Black Ops 6
The update will feature five new multiplayer maps, with three available at launch and two arriving mid-season:
- Bounty (6v6): A local crime boss’s lavish penthouse.
- Dealership (6v6): Intense battles in a luxury car showroom.
- Lifeline (2v2/6v6): Action aboard a damaged yacht.
- Bullet (2v2/6v6): Combat on a high-speed bullet train.
- Grind (6v6): The iconic skatepark from Black Ops II returns mid-season.
New Multiplayer Modes
In addition to the maps, the game will introduce new modes:
- Overcharge: Teams compete to earn the most stars by performing specific maneuvers.
- Gun Game: The fan-favorite mode is back, where players progress through a set of 20 weapons by eliminating opponents.
- Shootout – Candlelit: A Valentine’s Day-themed 3v3 mode.
- Doubles Competition: 2v2 matches across various Face Off modes.
New perks and gameplay updates will also be included, such as Supercharged and Hunter’s Instinct abilities, as well as the War Machine scorestreak.
Zombies Mode: The Thomb
The new map The Thomb delves into cursed catacombs tied to the Dark Aether. Players will face new enemies, wield mythical weapons like the Ice Staff, and benefit from enhanced abilities and equipment, such as the Death Perception perk.
Warzone Updates
Season 2 focuses on gameplay adjustments and improvements to the overall player experience. Three new maps — Area 99, Urzikstan, and Rebirth Island — will be available, along with modes like Battle Royale, Resurgence, and Plunder. Ranked Battle Royale will also debut with unique rewards.
Notable additions include new perks like Reactive Armor and Stealth, as well as thematic events such as The Terminator and Shadow Hunt, available in the first weeks.
Fixes and Improvements
The update will deliver technical enhancements, including bug fixes, customizable HUD options, co-op pause functionality, and challenge tracking.
