Free Fire has announced a new collaboration with the Netflix series Squid Game as part of the celebrations for the game’s 8th anniversary.
The crossover will launch shortly before the global premiere of the show’s third and final season, scheduled for June 27.
Previously, the game has promoted collaborations with La Casa de Papel, Attack on Titan, and other major entertainment brands.
Series-Inspired Games and Themed Content Arrive July 18
Starting July 18, players will be able to participate in modes inspired by Squid Game challenges, including the iconic “Red Light, Green Light” game.
These mini-games will be adapted to Free Fire’s competitive environment, maintaining the tension and visual style of the series.
The event will also include collectible items such as the participants’ uniforms and the guards’ signature outfits, themed accessories, and iconic voice lines from the South Korean production. All content will be available for a limited time as part of the anniversary programming.

According to him, the goal is to create memorable in-game experiences by combining recognizable elements from the series with Free Fire’s gameplay dynamics. The company expects the crossover to drive global engagement in the weeks following its launch.
