The eerie atmosphere of Tamriel is about to intensify with the return of the Witches Festival in The Elder Scrolls Online. This spooky event will run from October 24 to November 6, offering players plenty of time to dive into the darkness and reap a variety of rewards.
To get started, players must complete the "The Witchmother's Bargain" quest, unlocking the Witchmother's Whistle, which also grants a temporary skeletal polymorph. During the festival, there’s a passive double XP bonus that no longer requires the whistle, although it remains useful for its unique transformation effect.
Defeating bosses during the event rewards players with Plunder Skulls, which contain festival-themed items such as Hollowjack or Dremora styles, special recipes, and even some creepy materials like worms and guts. Additionally, slaying special bosses awards Dremora Plunder Skulls, with the chance to obtain rare new items like the Plunder Skull Blunder Memento Runebox, the Senchal Horned Owl pet fragment, and a tradeable style page for the Eltheric Revenant outfit.
Players can earn more Plunder Skulls by taking on various bosses, including those from arenas, delves, public dungeons, world bosses, and trials. This year, players can also obtain these skulls through the Tho'at Replicanum in the Infinite Archive.
Two additional challenges await: defeating the Crowborne Horror and Lord Hollowjack himself. Completing these feats grants unique containers and exclusive rewards not available elsewhere.
The Impresario vendor will return, allowing players to exchange Event Tickets for rewards, including fragments for the final event collectible of 2024—the Haven of the Five Companions house.
With all these rewards and challenges, the Witches Festival is an unmissable opportunity for players. However, to fully enjoy the event without interruptions, a stable connection is essential. Issues such as high ping, latency, FPS drops, lag, packet loss, jitter, and disconnects can hinder gameplay. NoPing offers the perfect solution, optimizing your connection, reducing ping, and enhancing your performance in The Elder Scrolls Online.
