Blizzard Entertainment has announced that update 11.1 of World of Warcraft, titled Undermine(d), will launch on February 25, following regional maintenance.
The new content expands the The War Within storyline and introduces Undermine, a goblin metropolis marked by business rivalries and underground conflicts.
Key highlights of the update include:
- Campaign continuation – Players must unite goblin cartels to face Gallywix and uncover his connection to Xal’atath.
- New transportation system – The introduction of the G-99 Breakneck, a customizable vehicle designed for high-speed travel.
- "Liberation of Undermine" Raid – An eight-boss encounter set in the city's streets, culminating in a showdown at Gallywix’s headquarters.
- "Operation: Floodgate" Dungeon – A four-boss mission where players race against time to prevent the catastrophic collapse of a dam in the Ringing Deeps.
- New immersion sites – Excavation Site 9 and Side Street Sluice will be available, alongside updated versions of existing immersion locations.
- PvP Arena "Cage of Carnage" – A new battleground featuring dynamic traps in a confined combat zone.
- Goblin cartel dynamics – Players can align with one of four cartels—Steamwheedle, Blackwater, Bilgewater, and the Venture Company—with experiences rotating weekly.
- Rewards and progression – The update introduces new raid sets, changes to the Mythic+ dungeon rotation, and new rewards.
The Undermine(d) update is part of The War Within expansion, bringing fresh content for players interested in story-driven experiences, exploration, and competitive challenges.
