Check the regional Riot service status, then test the same queue on Ethernet with downloads and streams paused. Start with region and service availability. A login, matchmaking, or game incident affecting many players must be handled by Riot. If no relevant incident is reported, distinguish ping from jitter and packet loss. Ping is the round trip; jitter is variation between trips; loss means traffic did not arrive. Low FPS is generated locally and requires a separate performance check.
Record shard, queue, time, connection, ping range, and active household traffic. A tournament broadcast, player name, or social trend is not outage evidence. Use repeatable gameplay and official status.

Isolate local congestion and routing
Test Ethernet first. If the spike disappears, focus on Wi-Fi. If several devices suffer, inspect the router and ISP. If only League is affected, use Riot's guide and requested logs. Compare similar sessions without changing several settings.
Evening spikes may reflect uploads or ISP congestion, but repeat the test. Preserve the selected region. Avoid registry tweaks, random ports, or unsupported DNS claims.
