Two new updates were announced for both the PC and console versions of World of Warships, introducing new game modes, ships, and themed collaborations.
On PC, the main highlight is the return of the Dockyard, where players can unlock two new cruisers over 20 construction phases. The final reward is the German Tier IX Blücher, a heavy cruiser equipped with high-precision weaponry and armor-piercing shells featuring improved penetration, enhanced ricochet angles, and flat ballistics.
Players who complete the first eight stages receive the Tier VII Gambia, a light cruiser from the Commonwealth, equipped with high-explosive shells and a short-burst smoke generator to support tactical maneuvers.
New Efficiency Badges Highlight Player Performance
The update also introduces a new Efficiency Badge system that evaluates player performance in Random Battles. Badges are awarded based on the player’s Base XP compared to the recent global average. There are four badge levels—3rd Grade, 2nd Grade, 1st Grade, and Expert—which can be displayed on player profiles and ships. Only the highest badge earned is shown per ship.
Another notable addition is the limited-time Unbreakable Line battle mode, which will be available from April 14 to May 15. In this 7v7 format, Tier VIII and IX battleships, cruisers, and destroyers face off with respawn mechanics. Teams race to score 1,000 points by capturing areas and sinking enemy ships—though sunken ships immediately respawn with fully loaded weapons, keeping the action continuous.

Ninja Turtles Collaboration and New Game Modes Come to Consoles
In World of Warships: Legends, the April update features a fan-favorite crossover with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, adding themed commander outfits and new ship skins. Players can also obtain limited-time Pizza Time crates, with two available for free—one through the “Turtle Power!” mission and another via the “Dragon’s Voyage” campaign throughout the month.
The update also introduces a new PvE mode called War Tales, in which teams of three to five players must work together to complete specific objectives using ships from Tier III and up. The first three War Tales feature unique missions such as defending a control point or escorting allied ships, requiring strong teamwork and coordination to succeed.
Completing the update is the Hindenburg Marathon, offering players the chance to earn the Legendary-tier German cruiser Hindenburg. Spread across three update cycles, players must collect a special currency known as Ship Parts, which can be earned by completing activities, advancing through the main campaign, purchasing bonus packs in the in-game Store, or finishing Weekly Assignments.
